Our team

Barbara Williams, LPC

I believe in the importance of self-compassion, as well as the fundamental communication between both our minds and bodies and ourselves and the people around us. There is a healing power in relationships. When people connect, they feel heard, validated and valued. When we are emotionally healthy, we want to live lives that make us feel not just happy, but purposeful. I believe it is never too late to have the life you want, and to be the person you want to be. My goal is to help clients deepen their awareness of their mind/body connection and cultivate compassion and patience for their own process and learning. For more information, please email me or visit my website.

I enjoy helping people gain clarity on how to heal from or how to improve key relationships. People have the ability to make significant changes to improve their quality of life. I believe that clients most often know what outcomes they desire and I work to empower them to move towards better balance and resolution of conflict or indecision.  My personal experience with parenting, public education, marriage, grief, and caregiving inform my approach to helping people heal and grow through and beyond personal challenges. I have experience working with teens and adults of all ages struggling with a multitude of stressors including family and relationship issues. See the web link below to verify insurances accepted.
